System Support Engineer - J.P Morgan Chase Bank

Responsibilities:
* Understanding the Cash Equities business flow and providing expert application consultation and support to the Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office.
* Working hand-in-hand with Front & Back Office to support local applications.
* Ensuring the operation stability of the application suite and making sure that system capacity is actively managed.
* Participate in key projects for expansion of the business to ensure seamless implementation.

Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): Unix, Oracle SQL, problem solving, investigation techniques and incident management capabilities.
* Preferred skill(s): Experience with JAVA/J2EE, VB, C++ languages and supporting trading floors/systems.
* Financial experience required ideally in Cash Equities, Rates, F&O or Banking experience.
* Knowledge of Middle and Back Office is also a strong advantage.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good analytical skills.
* Support experience/background preferred.
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
