Purchasing & Logistic Officer - Samsung

Responsibilities:
* Managing on time delivery.
* Monitoring just in time delivery.
* Selecting and developing alternative source of material.
* Negotiating material price / cost down activity.
* Assisting in resolve quality and receiving issue.
* Reviewing material requirement and inventory adjustment when necessary.
* Execute the purchasing process in accordance with corporate processes.
* Follow up of the purchasing process (receipt of order confirmations, check of delivery date, actual receipt/execution) and provide feedback to the internal customer.
* Generate required reports.

Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Commerce, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
* Required language(s): English, Chinese
* Preferred language(s): Bahasa Malaysia.
* At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material Management /Logistic or equivalent.
* Ability to work independently with multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
* Good communication and coordination skills to manage relationships with stakeholders and within procurement.
* Result-oriented, problem solving, decision and execution focused.
* Loyalty to values, guiding principles and policies and personal integrity.
* Possess self initiative and able to work independently.
* Sourcing for quotations.
* Negotiate and comparison of materials price.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Seremban.
* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
