Purification Group Leader - Sigma-Aldrich

Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize processes for purification and analysis of post-synthesis DNA and RNA products. Train and supervise technicians in the purification team. Maintain purification related quality document and good working condition of purification instruments. Organize workflow and shifts to achieve satisfactory product TAT.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
* Supervise purification team and identify and/or provide training needs
* Ensure timely delivery of high quality products
* Control TQM document for purification division
* Work with production team in product and process improvements
* Troubleshoot for purification related quality issues
* Work closely with production and QC team to organize an optimum workflow and schedule
* Coordinate with maintenance technician/team in keeping good performance of purification and QC machines
* Control release of purified products and certificates
* Optimize and develop best protocols for purifications and analysis
* Report to Senior Production Manager for operation and project issues

Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Minimum science degree holders
Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience in research, QC or production environment
Essential and Critical Skills: Good laboratory techniques and problem solving skills; familiarity with various HLPC techniques and instrument; good computer skills and knowledge of MS office programs.
