Responsibilities:
* To peruse and draft letters of offers, termination letters, concessionaire agreements, indemnity letters etc.
* To attend to summonses and draft cause papers.
* To provide support on matters pertaining to legal requirements of all departments in the company as well as to its subsidiary companies.
* To provide opinions and drafting agreements such as corporate and commercial agreements, tenancy agreements, lease agreements, novation/assignment agreements and third party related agreements.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and be admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Courts of Malaya.
* Must possess at least 1 year of working experience in either a legal firm or as in-house legal counsel. Newly qualified are also encouraged to apply.
* Computer literate and proficient in using all Microsoft Office applications.
* Experienced in corporate conveyancing and/or litigation matters.
* Candidate must possess excellent analytical skills and has the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all level of staff, customers and external parties.
* Committed in seeking solutions in resolving any issues pertaining to legal matters as well in meeting tight and challenging deadlines in order to achieve critical goals.
* Able to work under pressure and to multi-task in a fast paced working environment.
