Technician
Responsibilities:
1. General knowledge of usage of hand tools and precision measuring instruments is a must.
2. Once qualified the person is expected to perform receiving inspection, disassembly, cleaning, parts inspection, assembly and test of aircraft components.
3. Will be trained in one or more of these aircraft components types: Cooling turbines, turbo compressors, pneumatic & electro-pneumatic valves, air turbine starters, pneumatic drive actuators and refrigeration units.
4. Ensures that work carried out meets to the required quality as specified in the respective manual.
5. Initiate & implement continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.
6. Must be familiar with the usage aircraft component manuals or publications.
Requirements:
1. Strong team player with good interpersonal communication skills
2. Committed and willing to work long hours
3. Good understanding of 5S concepts.
4. Must have basic computer skills.
Experience/Education Required:
1. Must have at least a NTC certificate or higher and be able to read, write and communicate in English.,
2. Personnel having at least 18 months of aviation experience in mechanical trade would strongly be considered.
