Laboratory Assistant, Coatings - Clariant Masterbatches

Responsibilities:
* Provide laboratory support for the Senior Technical Advisor, Coatings. This position is a dedicated position and only services Coatings applications
* Carry out various laboratory tests as required by the Senior Technical Advisor, Coatings and under the guidance of the Laboratory Supervisor
* Operate the laboratory machinery as per the given operating instructions
* Ensure that the laboratory work area is maintained in a clean fashion
* Ensure that all required safety procedures are followed
* Assist in preparing demonstration material according to the instructions/guidelines provided

Requirements:
* Candidate must possess a Chemistry degree or diploma
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office
* Familiarity with colourants or associated application field an advantage
* Ability to work under a minimum of supervision
* Experience in the coatings or associated industry is an advantage but not compulsory
