Events Manager - Country Heights Holdings Berhad (CHHB)

Responsibilities:

  • To initiate events, marketing and communication programs which includes planning, coordination and executing of all advertising campaigns, events and promotional activities
  • To prepare and administrations of related events/marketing initiatives' agreements
  • To plan and organise Marketing Communications/Public Relations related activities
  • To provide market analysis and information.
  • To plan product launching and promotion activities
  • Responsible for conceptualization, co-ordination and drafting of advertising materials for the periodical publications and promotions.
  • Develop and manage yearly marketing programmes, events / strategise with relevant business partners to improve and enhance end-user satisfaction and customer retention that translates into sales and visibility for the Hotel.
  • Negotiate and develop business relationships with relevant authorities and other related business partners to foster joint partnerships to enhance the brand
  • Lead a team of marketing staff and recommend strategies on related issues on the Hotel’s e-commerce platforms, database management, loyalty programmes, web marketing and strategies, tactical promotions, sales promotions, food & beverage programmes, identify key markets and segments, and implement relevant programmes to strengthen brand presence.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business, marketing, mass communication or related disciplines is preferred with excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal).
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity in a recognised hospitality industry or with at least five (5) years experience in FMCG industry and events management.
  • Independent with good organisation, project planning, methodical and multitasking skills.
  • Able to initiate new events, marketing plans, promotions and activities.
  • Initiative and must be able to anticipate and meet needs of the brand.
  • Results oriented, excellent communication skills, have a strong sense of urgency, ability to think and act strategically in a rapidly changing environment.
