Responsibilities:
* Handle full set of payroll and benefits processing such as undertaking payroll calculation, performing payroll reconciliation, journal and others, in an efficient and timely submission to the relevant parties.
* Payroll process includes dealing with human resources to ensure all entitlements are correctly stated and compliance with all statutory requirements.
* Responsible for continuous improvement in payroll processes and resolve any payroll issues with employees.
* Assist in driving excellent and achieving the mission of the division
* Assist in HR administrative functions such as preparing payroll reports.
Requirements:
* Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Economics, Finance, Accountancy or equivalent.
* At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
* Experience in managing payroll for at least 500 headcount is preferable.
* High degree of integrity and tact in handling high volumes of payments. Required skill(s): numerical & accuracy.
* Knowledgeable in Labour Law, Employment Act, Industrial Relation Act and statutory regulation.
* Knowledge in Time Management System will have added advantage.
* Knowledge in PeopleSoft will be a compliment.
* Good hands-on utilization of MS applications i.e. Excel, Words and any accounting systems, with knowledge of Easy Pay / Boss Payroll System or any other payroll software application.
* Possess good interpersonal and effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Well-organized, meticulous, detail–minded, team player, able to meet deadlines and able to work under pressure.
* Work experience in shared service environment will have added advantage.
* Immediate starters are highly preferred.
